I live in a rural area and my stove operates on propane gas. I would like to find a new one?

since my oven is broken but I have heard that city gas (natural gas I guess) is not compatible with the propane. Is there any way to remedy the problem with a used stove or would I have to buy a complete new one that’s never had any natural gas through it?
I would like to get a used one but what would i need to do before I hook it up to make sure there is no old natural gas to mix with propane?

Hi! This time Chef Hobstad brings the thrilling camping gas to your screens. Fill a bottle with gas, close it with tape and bring the bottlenck to a flame. Woof. Pump the bottle to activate air/gas flow. Propane / Butane are respectively 1.5 to 2 times heavier than air. Fill your bottle placing the gas can upside down. Note: Too bad the gas valve had a serious flow issue. Result would have been far more better.
