I just got an adapter that I think will do the trick, but is this safe? Do I need to get a regulator or something? I’m worried that the gas from the 20-pound tank will come out too fast and blow everything up. thanks

Do I need to unscrew (detach) the 16.4 oz portable propane cylinder after using my portable gas grill?

I have a Weber Q 200 portable propane grill and a 16.4 oz propane tank/cylinder. I have read that the propane cylinder will seal itself when unscrewed from the grill but just wanted to make sure. Do I need to even unscrew it at all after grilling?
