If your good at fixing and repairing plumbing, electrical, and patching dry wall you may want to check with some appartment complexes and see if they need a handy man. They some times offer free room and board just ot have you around to fix things. It’s a thought and a start. You may also want to check with the local shelters and exlpain the situation to them. They do have placement in halfway homes to help you get back on your feet. They would much rather have you willing to change and get back on your feet then to have you out on the streets. just some thoughts.
