Me, baby. I’m warm and I have a built-in metronome

I’ve tried a few. Here is what I look for:
1. Weight – obviously dont’ want some thing big and heavy.
2. Setup/asssembly – the faster the better and I try to avoid anything that requires inflation.
3. Material of cover – I’ve returned stuff that was noisy when I moved around on it or didn’t breath.
I am now using the Coleman Bunkmaster II. I love it!

I have yet to find a good cot. I prefer a foam pad(not air mattress), sleeping on the ground.

The ones the military use. They are very rugged and can hold up to over 275 pounds. They can range from $75- $125 new.

I really have to say I found a air mattress works the best, they roll up small and easy to blow up with the one that has it’s own pump keeps you dry and very comfortable and also a cot will not allow you to lay flat this will arch your body in the most uncomfortable position, we do a lot of camping and hiking and this we found to be the best

I got a nice one with a cozy mattress and springs that folds up from Wal Mart. But I only use it in the summer. In the winter I use a neat little futon I found, also at Wally World.

I use the Coleman Bunkmaster II. It is a light cot that is quite comfortable for me 5′10″ 180 lbs. We camp with a larger guy who loves his Coleman Trailhead Military Style Cot. You can both of these for very reasonble prices.
