How do you shower in the ARMY boot camp as a woman? Very nervous!?

I’m joining the Army in less than a month and I just heard women have to shower together. I have a severe case of homophobia, as in, I threw up when I hit puberty and went swimming in municiple pools, then had to see the naked women showering while walking past them into the private shower stalls. It literally makes me nauseous. Sometimes I’m okay, but I often gag or feel sick, even GET sick. I’m not joking.
Do we really have to share showers/shower heads? Please answer in depth if you would..

yes you have to share showers im in the AF. You will get use to it after the first few nights.

community showers with a buch of seperate shower heads. you are going to be soo tried your not even gonna have time to worry about it. and besides those are going to become some of the best friends you will ever have…like family…!!

I would suggest talking with a counselor or getting some hypnotherapy, to deal with your problem. As someone mentioned, you’ll probably be too tired to care.

This is a really good question. It is the same for women as it is for men. There will be a large shower room with several shower heads. You will take a shower at the same time as the other women. You will all be female soldiers doing all activities as a unit. The US Army does not allow queers to enlist and serve. Relax and enjoy your time in the Army. I served 3 years in the Army Security Agency. I thoroughly enjoyed all of that time. I am proud to be a veteran.
