The innovative Coleman Pinnacle Lantern is packed with features to make it powerful, durable, and easy to use, maintain, and store. It’s also the brightest Coleman propane lantern available, with a high-temperature clear globe for maximum area lighting. Featuring adjustable light output, the Coleman Pinnacle Lantern burns for up to 5.5 hours on high (longer on low) with just one 16.4-ounce propane lantern (sold separately). The Pinnacle’s InstaStart electronic ignition means that starting the lantern is as simple as pushing a button — no matches required. Coleman’s PerfectFlow fuel-pressure regulator ensures consistent performance, even in rough weather, at high altitudes, and when fuel level is low. Coleman’s QuickLift system makes it easy to change the mantle: the entire top assembly (globe, burner, mantles, and ventilator) can be removed in one piece, allowing easy access to the burner tube. And with Coleman’s Insta-Clip #95 tabbed mantles, there are no strings to tie or wires to position; convenient plastic tabs slip the mantle easily onto the burner tube with no fuss. An aluminized steel ventilator and stainless steel finishing on other components provides resistance to weather and rust, while the Pinnacle’s heat shield system reduces heat on the control valve for optimal performance. Built-in metal stabilizers and vertical metal guards protect the glass globe and reduce rattle. A metal bail handle allows for easy carrying and hanging. The top assembly can be conveniently nested inside the base for secure storage. This Pack-Away storage system not only protects the lantern’s head unit, it also provides a compact package for transporting and storage. For stability, four folding feet with rubberized inserts flip out to provide a broad, non-slip base; the feet fold underneath for more compact storage.

Very bright. This was the brightest portable lantern when I brought it to our multi-family camping. Very portable since the base that holds the propane cylinder when it’s in use, becomes the storage case. Though a bit expensive, it’s worth it.

This is a great lantern – what makes this worth the money is the built-in case and the power. The lantern is very easy to disassemble and put into the case. Also, this lantern can light the entire park if you want.
This costs more but worth the money.

I bought one of these lanterns two years ago and used it for camping for a week. It works great, easy to start and I love the carrying case is part of the lantern. Has handle on lantern and stores great. Has fold out legs to use for stability on the base. Pricey but you don’t need to buy a case for it and it is quality.
