Can I put a pan on a small charcoal bbq to cook while camping?

I have a baby Weber bbq and would like to cook some items in a pan. Is this possible? Or will the pan not get hot enough? Or any other ideas? I have limited money and time to go buy a portable stove.

Make sure that works, even the camp the whole time and always cooking things like beans or ma? Cobin z in a pot or pan on the grill. It is hot, and long enough.
